This module provides information about the current and widespread professional burnout syndrome, which for many social workers is one of the main reasons for their poor mental and somatic health, low levels of job satisfaction, reduced professional efficiency, etc. The main signs of the syndrome, as well as ways of ventilating the accumulated emotional tension, are indicated. Focus is also set on supervisory support as an effective approach to increasing satisfaction with social work, improving employee self-esteem, maintaining good quality standards, synchronizing united efforts on a specific case, preventing psycho-emotional work tense.
