„Upskilling training for professionals of the social service sector in the field of ensuring a better quality of life and support for people with intellectual disabilities“

The event was organized by NARHU and held in Ruse on 31/05/2021.

It was opened by the Deputy mayor responsible for social affairs and then there was 10 minutes musical greeting from young people with intellectual disabilities who made symbolic bridge between the generations. The attendees were: social workers, psychologists, caregivers, trainers and adult educators supporting people with ID, occupational therapists, managers of social services for elderly people, policy makers and others – around 80. Abutraining project was presented by ppt highlighting the intellectual outputs as well as annexes with indicators for recognition of elderly abuse. Abutraining flyers were also distributed.
